Earlier dated reporting
CAMBRIA, SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — November 4, 2026. Coast Unified School District’s Trustee Area 2 has an eleven-vote margin in the county’s early-November-4 count.
Preliminary vote
Susan Dever has 273 votes (51.0%) and Mark Ober has 262 votes (49.0%) in the preliminary result.
What the numbers mean
Coast Unified serves coastal communities including Cambria. Trustee-area boundaries determine who was eligible to vote in this contest. The result is not a direct communitywide vote by every Cambria resident, and an eleven-vote lead should not be declared final.
Source and reporting cutoff
The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder published its fourth unofficial results report on November 4, 2026; the linked results compilation is stamped 1:55 a.m. Pacific on November 4.
